IIS provides a foundation for the children to explore their ideas, nurture their thoughts and beliefs, fosters the spirit of idealism in the minds of budding personalities, in an adventurous climate which accelerates the process of seeking holistic education, keeping in pace with the novel ideas sophisticated teaching and learning methodologies and sharpening and upgrading soft skills, mouding the impressionistic minds of the students to face the challenges of life confidently to become ideal citizens.

Delhi (CBSE) has offered a fair degree of autonomy with a view to create a stress free learning environment for the students with introduction of grading and continuous and comprehensive evaluation(C.C.E), to focus on all the facets of personality development in assessing the emotional and psychological health of a learner and helps to cultivate a congenial atmosphere for learning ,and at the same time helps the students to imbibe knowledge without adherin to rote learning. With this type of evaluation teaching and learning process has become highly effective and enjoyable.

IIS experienced tremendous progress and growth with the introduction of Innovative measures in the field of academics, sports and club activities to excel inherent qualities of children. This progress has been achieved with the untiring efforts and dedication of our dynamic teaching faculty. They are indeed our real assets. Their contribution in grooming the children is praiseworthy. As I step in the year 2010, I reminisce, myriad of accomplishments ranging from curricular, co curricular activities, workshop for teachers on sharpening skills, organizing for students, quiz, recitation, elocution and other areas of vocabulary development programme and life skill development fostered a sense of healthy competition, in totality bringing out the best from the students and widened the realms of understanding and vision. It unraveled the inner talent and unlocked the potentials, of our budding students to become enlightened global citizens.

IIS transmuted into Techno Savvy: the remarkable introduction of ICT (Information Computer Technology) has added a “Feather in a Cap” in improving the overall standard of the school by transforming into. ‘Citadel of technology’, where-in it not only reduces the usage of pen and paper but also helps the parents to keep intact with the daily activities conducted by the teachers in the classroom.
